Recently, Wrexham AAC's Amber Simpson claimed a new Welsh record when she launched the hammer 67.11-metres at the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
However, this mark was smashed by more than a metre at the Memphis Tiger Invitational.
Winning the event, Simpson's best effort was 68.13-metres.
