So as we all know tonight was the final meeting of the Borders League at Prestatyn. The trophy was in touching distance so it meant getting everyone out to flood the field with maroon vests and we did just that.
Top man tonight was Scott Nixon in 3rd followed by Ryan Davis in 4th. The later taking 2nd in the overall standings and in the senior men. Ben Wilf Goodfellow took the honours of 3rd SM overall. Other trophy winners tonight were Joel Gomes 2nd V40 and Daniel John Weston 1st V40 both picking the same trophies up 2 years running.
As a club the Male vets were overall narrowly missing out to Wirral.
Overall Wrexham AAC were crowned with a fantastic score of 110 points with all 10 counters in 31.
A massive thank you to each and everyone of you who have turned up whether it was once or all the races and to those who have come along and also supported us. Each of you contributed to the club winning this trophy which I believe hasn't been won by the club for over 30 years. Hopefully next year we can do the same but for now let's just relish this moment.
